Harry says that if the squid-things had been octopi with chimps rather than gorillas, he would have called them octopongs rather than octokongs.
Is this a Mah Jongg joke?

Conspiracy Theorist:
Jim was probably thinking of orangutans, their Latin genus name is Pongo with several sub species whereas the chimpanzee is genus Pan again with two sub species.

Shocking mistake on the part of the Betas. A Chimp/octopus hybrid would in fact be a Pantacle.
