As far as your original topic goes: I think we've reached a point where Harry is almost about to realize what the Black Staff is. But, not quite there. Given his lack of talent when it comes to asking the "big" questions, he might even need to be told... again :( .

I would not be surprised but be lenient with him. After all, he has not access to a forum where hundreds of people discuss every detail of his life :). He has to figure it all, all by himself.
