Why "clearly"? I see nothing suggesting this. I mean, it can be, but no indication for that.
And I agree the baby is not born yet (unless whampires have a different pregnancy duration)

Conspiracy Theorist:
Because it is the most horrible thing Jim could do to Harry. In a multiverse of possibilities and Harry co-exists with Jim, if I were Jim I would be worried that one day Harry would turn up with a baseball bat, and go Snakeboy on his ass.
