Weird? Pretty much.

As for brexit, I play maybe 3 times a week with a few friends from Europe, and one of the brits is quite passionate about it. Always expect at least one argument between him and the French guy every week about brexit.

I know all the arguments. A friend of mine came here about two decades ago because even with good papers it is easier to go to some foreign country than trying your luck in the south of England if you are a northerner and the economy was better here at the time. It fluctuates.
Of course he is against Brexit, his whole life is based on the opportunities Europe gave him and Thatcher and co denied him. His nephew however stayed there and is now a brexiteer. We had long discussions on Facebook.
I suppose patriottisme is fine but if you have no other arguments than that you are probably duped by people who abuse your emotions. They think they lost their sovereignty to the EU. No army, police or foreign authority is stopping them if they want out. It is an insult to all those people who had to fight to get rid of the English. My wife is half Scottish and half Welsh so she understands.

Good maen everyone! :)
I won't say anything about Brexit (or about Thatcher. Specially about Thatcher), because I don't want to be kicked out of the forum.
What I will say is that I love cardamom in my coffee and in some foods, I don't remember if I tried it in tea. Cardamom is something you can found. here but not in every place. My favorite place is one called "el gato negro" (the black cat) and it has very good spices. It is also a cafeteria, I had coffee (latte) with turmeric. It was very, very weird.
Fcrate:
Ha.. Did it taste like chicken by any chance? :P
Dina:
LOL, not really. I don't actually liked it but it was fun to try it, and somehow it felt like it would be good for my health :)
I am also a genuine lover of salt mixed with other things. I have a lot of flasks of salt with many different things. My favorite varies according to my mood, but most of the times it's a particular blend of salt, pepper, and lemon. Delicious. Very good with chicken but also interesting in salads, as tabulli (tabuleh? I don't know how you call it, Fcrate).
Fcrate:
We call it Tabboula (The salad I mean) , although it originated in lebanon/Syria and they call it Tabblouleh.
It's a derivative from "Tawabel" which means spices. You can also call this"Tatbila" which is the blend of spices you use on a specific dish, mostly BBQ or salads.
If you like salt, pepper and lemon on a salad, I guarantee you'll love it if you add a small amount of cumin and a spoonful of olive oil on your salad.
