Or the Atom Bomb has made us safer. The chances of World Powers directly going at each other has almost vanished thanks to the nuclear deterrent. Imagine if the US tried to get into a land war with the Chinese or fight the Russians over Germany. Israel having nukes has kept it from being a real target for invasion for years now and has kept Iran is a sorta check.
or just the number of lives saved by the avoiding the invasion of mainland Japan. Estimated loses were in the millions .

I forgot to mention that I got to see Elton John on his farewell tour. It was a good show. He went all out for 3 hours; not bad for being 71.
