Hey

i was wondering how you all handle Vails and Shields in DFA?

with shield we normaly had at a block action in Core. what do you do to create shields in DFA? make it as a advantaage action?

Both are blocks. Veils against perceptions (which can be overcome via either Alertness or Investigation), and shields against attacks (which can be overcome with an attack roll).

That's for DFRPG. DFA is a bit different; it uses the four actions from Fate Core.

And yes, I would handle shields as create advantage actions in DFA. Would be a natural justification for taking defend actions on behalf of others, too.
