Haven't seen that in years.
Ren:
Maen y'all...
So I had a mildly eventful Monday. Up at 6am to get to the tac office early enough to be 8th in line to renew my car registration/ Was still there nearly 45 minutes but only took like 10 once inside to get things done and now the car is all registered, no more worry about getting pulled over for expired registration!
Then home to bed for a few hours then up at 10 to get to SLT surgery appointment. Basically I needed laser surgery to reduce the pressure in my right eye before glaucoma seriously set in/ I spent more time waiting for the surgery than the actual surgery. Sadly I was not a good patient, but that happens when the surgery involves firing brilliant green lasers into ones eyeballs, especially when one is already suffering Keratitis in both eyes and the left eye was already itching and watering to begin with.
The nurse was pretty accurate in her pre-surgery description; "It's going to feel like you are getting flicked in the eye." what that does NOT convey is that it was a very rapid series of small flicks and though my eye was allegedly numbed it still stung. I'm okay now though my vision in the eye is a little blurrier, that will hopefully go away by tomorrow or so.
Now if I can just find the right pair of replacement glasses online that will fit my fat head...8P
Sadly that is a lot harder than you cam imagine when you need glass with a 145mm Temple Length, limits a LOT of options...8P
Dina:
Oh Ren, I didn't know your surgery would be so bad, I am very sorry. But it worked well! That is the important thing, now don't tire your vision for a couple of days and hopefully the blur will disappear.

Oh, and great about the car!
