No connection (for me as a reader) to Cowl... So it would be underwhelming at this point.

No connection that we know of. For all we know it could be someone Maggie Sr. asked to look over her son, before he'd gone dark side.

No I meant that I don't feel a connection as a reader to Cowl... He hasn't had enough face time for me to feel connected enough to care. Of course if it turns out another character we see more often is in fact Cowl that would change things for me.
