George R. R. Martin kills of more Starks, Jim Butcher delays the release :D To each his own.
On the other hand, last book of the Song of Ice and Fire came out 2011 so we can't complain there.

From what I gathered, it got split into two books and only the first one is out so far. Funny, the only book I know with more sex in it than Martin's books is the Bible.

Oh, there are many that have plenty; but, the more you add the less interesting the story.
