Book 20 Last Case? rumor thread

The reader in me wants as many books as possible; but, the OCD part likes the symmetry of 20 books plus the BAT.

In some ways yes, but, there seems to be a rumored pattern in which the first 10 books are mirrored by the last 10 books. That is what appeals to me.

Rasins:
Well, when you consider that Changes is the supposed middle point of the books, then that means there will be 11 before it and 11 after it, making 23 casebooks and the BAT for 26 books.

I can live with that.

I vaguely remember some WOJ about the middle of the story is not the same as the middle number in books. I probably am mistaken.
