The Dresden Files > DF Books
Publishers
libraryelf:
Two authors in the past year had to change the way they publish their books. Sherilyn Kenyon had to toake back the rights to her last YA book and publish it herself. The publisher kept pushing the date back to release her book. Another author, who has sold millions of books around the world for years, change publishing house all together because of two copy editors tried to change her book. One is mainly a romance author, JD has millions of books and JB knosse SK, maybe he might want to make sure his publisher is still on board with his books or make the copy editor doesn't want to rewite the book. Sorry, just an odd thing I have been thinking about for a while.

This is probably a weird time for publishers, with ebooks and everything being internet based.
Rasins:
They are under a bunch of pressure, but it seems odd that they'd push out a publication date. It just means more money for them.
Odd.

As in prioritizing the printing?
Wouldn't it make more sense to get it printed and out so that it can sell?
