I don't believe DR is set up to use blood to power anything, like the stone table.  Just not his power source.

The beings that are imprioned, often have servants, followers or other entourages. It would not just be enough to defend against them, they need offensive capability as well.

I think there is no doubt that Maeve, and Lily dying there will leave..... something behind.

It did GK .... who corpses. 

I know that sounds flippant, but it's true.  All of their metaphysical weight went with the Mantles.
