Common Rituals
« on: September 13, 2017, 12:30:45 PM »
What are some examples of Common Rituals?  I have allowed players to draw Protective Circles, conduct Exorcisms, bless water to make it holy (using Conviction instead of Discipline), and charms that effectively add an Aspect.  Are there any other ideas that other people on the board have done that they would like to share?

Maybe a Smudge to remove a negative aspect from a place or building?  Or bless a building to build up its threshold.

An indoctrination ceremony to give someone a title?  Maybe to change a character aspect?

In my experience, nobody ever uses common rituals. But one idea that comes to mind is to find and use natural passages to the Nevernever.

Interpreting omens as a really bad form of divination might also be appropriate.

I might include some form of ritual for attracting good luck, that grants a very minor bonus.
