My guess is a tiny little con that takes place every Labor Day weekend in Atlanta and has a parade. I know I'll be back there this year and would love to see Jim there again.

Seeing as how it's Jim's fiancee's favorite con, that would be an excellent guess. Cannot confirm or deny, though. :D

Added one more unexpected event, "Fried Pie Con" at Books-A-Million in Broomfield, CO, on April 15th.
