Darla:
Yeah, this is only one book, but since there's at least one good quote on nearly every page, I figured it deserved a topic of its own.

Like the one about nostalgia:

"All I know is that every time I walk into a gymnasium, I get hit with a rush of memories from my own days of high school.  Some people call that phenomenon "nostalgia."  I call it "nausea."

Or MJ's comment on male-speak:

"Peter," she said, "I know that in your head, you just said something that conveyed actual information.  But when it got to your mouth, it grew fur, beat its chest, and started howling at the moon."

There are about a zillion more great quotes in here, but I'll let somebody else have a turn.

jtaylor:
"I'm the Amazing Spider-Man, not Spider-man and his Amazing Friends"

casualimp:
Yeah, that line got me laughing big time. Wish they'd release that on DVD.

Nim:
Not quite finished with the book, but:

"It's this magical crap," I said..."It's such hogwash."
'Freaking sorcerors. Freaking mystic muckety-mucks.'

I love all the magic = crap griping from Spidey, given Jim's *cough*  other books.
And the one I read this morning:
'It's a rare man who can honestly say that his butt has a superpower.'

Guardian 452:
I just picked up the book, and got about 50 pages in on the bus ride back home!  There's been one quote (so far) that's had me literally laughing out loud...yes I did get some odd stares on the bus!   Actually, odd stares until they saw I was reading (Then a couple seemed to want to know what the book was...and yes, that did get me started on promoting Jim!  It helped that I also had a copy of Blood Rites with me).

Anyway, the one quote...this one will be familiar to those here who were on the mailing list.  Right now I think that's most of us, but anyway, here's the quote...

"It dimly occurred to me that at this point, if I was Han Solo, faced with a genuine threat to my life, I would officially have moral license to shoot first."

I vividly remember the day that the original Star Wars trilogy (at least the "special edition" version) came out on DVD.  There was a lively discussion on the email list, and Jim stepped in with a post of little more than four lines..."
