Okay, on the back of the advance reader's copy of the book, there's a bullet point list of places & events where you might be able to get your own advanced copy.  As such, I thought some here might be interested.  I'll bold the ones I think are the most relevant.


* Author tour
* consumer advertising
* extensive online advertising, including Reedit & Facebook
* major GoodReads advertising and promotions
* targeted print advertising in science fiction/fantasy publications
* extensive print feature and review coverage
* author blog tour
* major online interviews and reviews
* promitions at conventions throughout the year, including author appearances
* samplers for conventions
* social media outreach includding promotions in the Project Paranormal Facebook page and Twitter
As I mentioned in another thread, you were able to pick up a copy at SDCC if you followed @acerocbooks so at least it might be in your interest to start following that Twitter account.  I expect there's a good chance the book might hit NYCC in a similar manner.  I'm not familiar with any other conventions Peguin attends.
