Shall I Compare Thee To A Mooseburger aka The Bad Poetry Thread
j3nnee:
My penpal online from Japan
Who's a slightly older man
Taught me that phrase
one of these past days
He's been too busy to chat
So, I miss helping with his English at that
He was doing really well
Till my change in schedu-el ;)
I hope he will chat with me soon
Before the next blue moon
As I liked to learn about Asian culture
Like roadkill is interesting to a vulture ;)
*bows* MUUSU BUUGARUU ;)
Ms Duck:
there was a little thread quite mired
to win free some wit is mite required
so dust off your arse
send in poetic farce
with as much humor as can conspired
KarlTenBrew:
For me to compare thee to moose burger,
Inspiration limitless bounds to me.
Yet sonnets are hard, my trouble you see?
Bemoan! Wail! Toil! Sorrow for writer!
Yet toil worthy is sonnet moose burger,
A goal so few attain, but glory be!
For if easy such worth is lost to he
Whom such a task undertakes as writer.
Inspired forthwith do I labor, Love,
Till thy completion nary shall I rest!
For sonnet sounds born of man fly above
All other forms of poetry as best.
So I present you a ditty, by shove,
As off through the sunset I ride, the West!
Blaze:
*golf claps* Bravo Bravo
KarlTenBrew:
That's just the Italian sonnet, I'm still working on the Shakespearian one ::)
