Anyone here dealt with Pro Se Press?
LizW65:
I recently met a local (fellow Eastern Connecticut) author who has published a few novels through this company; it's a very small publishing house that takes unagented genre manuscripts. She writes mainly High Fantasy, but they also deal in pulp mysteries, Westerns and sci-fi. From what she told me it sounds as though they have their good and bad points, so I was wondering if anyone here has had any experiences with them that they would share.

I suggest checking out "Preditors and Editors" and "Writer Beware," they do a pretty good job of compiling problem-houses & agents.
LizW65:
They're not even mentioned on either site. They don't appear to be scam artists, just a very small genre publisher without much influence or $$, though they have done a few conventions (and according to my new friend, the CEO has some issues that can make him difficult to deal with.) I was really hoping for some more personal stories, but I guess they're really really small. ;)
Paynesgrey:
How long have they been around?
