It was part of the top Biggest Kickstarter Wins list, but still a great way to get more players!!!

Seems like an iffy article. The amount that a project surpasses its goal by doesn't actually tell you how successful it is, since some projects set deliberately low goals.

Fate Core is actually an example of that...everyone knew it would make more than the $3000 that was supposed to be its goal. But it's not as big an example as Penny Arcade, which had a purely nominal goal.

It was less about the article than it's inclusion in the list, that's all. If nothing else people might look it up. There were more "successful" kickstarters that never delivered. It wasn't really an evaluation as much as it is advertising. I'm always happy to see it anywhere that has fairly large audience.
