I have actually never been to a signing in my life, so this will be my first one. So, can anyone be so kind as to explain to me how it goes? Do you bring your own books to get signed, or will he only sign them if you bought them at the bookstore that day? And usually, how many does he sign? Thanks!

Went today. Jim's talk was awesome. I'll be the guy walking around with a dude dressed as Harry. I'm the Will Borden to his Harry Dresden.

I think he'll sign any book. If lines are long probably two might be polite (Though you could get in line again for more.). You can also chat
briefly, ask a question, and maybe take a pic, depending on his preferences/local rules.
