Oh, I am thrilled for the release!!

As for steampunk suggestions.....I am not certain it was TRUE steampunk, but Alan Campbells Deepgate Codex Series is one of my favorites. It is like a Steampunk series had a love child with a Terry Gilliam movie and this series was the product.

.....I think I recall that he was actually working on his own Steampunk series, but I have not seen it yet.

I was wondering about that series as well. I only read Scar Night, but I had a horrible time categorizing its genre. That aside; I can't wait to delve into a new Jim Butcher world!!

HEY!!  I hope we aren't getting the talking cats purely as villains.  My cats are playful, humorous, communicative, relaxing, and when I'm not feeling so good they sit with me quietly and keep me company.  Of course, to any skinwalkers out there who just turned into a rat or a bug, they're villains, all right.

FAIR PLAY FOR FELINES!

Mmmmm my cat was on the desk as I read this thread and for the first time in her life she looks.......concerned. ???

Dina:
(((Ru)))) It's good to see you!

Shear, I agree about the cats, but as Jim seems to like them (Mister) I'd say they won't be just villains.
