41kish on my Sci Fi WIP.  It's going awesome, moving into the final arc of the story a little early, but given the fact it's a whole Heist plotline I should be fine to getting around 30-40K words out of it.

Also inserted some killer early book forshadowing.

Chapter 17 completed! 6700 words! And managed to Solid who my actual Villain is...and got my main character's Nemesis in the bargain! Whee!

I finally heard back from both of my beta readers. I'm excited to look at their notes and some of their suggestions will help make this book more rich and engaging( I hope!)

But the biggest part of my conversation with one of them was when he told me:

- "The story is amazing, I loved it."
- "Concerning the alien race in the book...thank you, just thank you, they're incredible."
- (Concerning a specific scene in the book) "That was awesome, really amazing."

Suffice to say I've been squeeing my pants from their reactions. Now I'll be spending the next two weeks fine tuning the book, taking their suggestions into account, and finally on June 7th...release!

First draft of The Terror of Twevlety Town is done.  40K in just under a month.  Proofing and beta feedback in progress.

Getting back into the groove after some time away by rereading a project I am officially abandoning and noting which bits to take for other projects; unfortunately, most of those fit in TIWTBW #5, which is at best a couple of years away.

More editing today.  I can see the end of editing in sight.  Maybe another week to go.  The book is now up to 298,000 words.  Whew.

One week until I release my book on Amazon! I'm spending the weekend going through the manuscript to fine-tune everything.
