If it wasn't for a 24 hour flight delay I wouldn't have gotten anything done since last Tuesday. 3010 words. Family clashing with RL, but I wouldn't trade the family time for anything else in the world. Also my revisions/edits came in from the editor for Book I, so now it begins with the old book and writing the new book. Thank goodness I'm half way into the second.
Unrelated, I attended a talk and book signing by Jack Gantos, the 2013 Newbery Award winner at Arizona State's Piper Writing House. He is freaking awesome and awe inspiring. Thus the 3AM to 5AM writing session. Nothing new written this AM but letter off to editor on titles, assignment for my online mediabistro.com classposted, and scribbled notes for my blog on the Jack Gantos talk. He's with Farrar, Straus & Giroux - Macmillan BTW, the home of "A Wrinkle in Time" and my forever and ever favorite pub house.
