Things are getting pretty grim now. 73,570 words.

I think I am finally finally through this pass on what I have of TIWTBWO #3. (Except one line that needs to be moved back to chapter 5 as set-up, and one other similar-scaled moving something back to chapter 3. Both of which will be quick and simple enough that I am leaving them to get myself going with next time.)
Through pass on chapters 8 and 9 again to check that what I did last week worked, tightened the end of 10, wnt through 11 and the opening para of 12. A thousand words of additional opening frame written new, and I am pretty sure that the next bit of frame comes after 12.
Also, I have figured out where something in #5 may originate from in the chapters I have just written.
Total at this point: 48,205 words.

Haven't actually wrote anything. Too lazy right now but I least I have something that sort of resembles an outline.
Here it is: A "man" is traveling through a vast desert with a horse, "raven", and a wagon full of Evolution. He comes upon a town centered around an oasis. The town is on the verge of political collapse and each side is desperate for a leg up. The "man" and his Evolution are the key to winning this conflict. But does the "man" really care?
Ive had a tough time describing the settings when I actually write and that usually stops me short. Any advice?
Wordmaker:
If you find that description is a weak point, shift the focus of your writing to something else.
My editor pointed out that my strengths lie in dialogue and how I describe action scenes, so my writing is quite dialogue-heavy and light on description, and that works for me.
roteral:
thanks Ill give it a shot
