41kish on my Sci Fi WIP. It's going awesome, moving into the final arc of the story a little early, but given the fact it's a whole Heist plotline I should be fine to getting around 30-40K words out of it.
Also inserted some killer early book forshadowing.
Ren:
Chapter 17 completed! 6700 words! And managed to Solid who my actual Villain is...and got my main character's Nemesis in the bargain! Whee!
Dresdenus Prime:
I finally heard back from both of my beta readers. I'm excited to look at their notes and some of their suggestions will help make this book more rich and engaging( I hope!)
But the biggest part of my conversation with one of them was when he told me:
- "The story is amazing, I loved it."
- "Concerning the alien race in the book...thank you, just thank you, they're incredible."
- (Concerning a specific scene in the book) "That was awesome, really amazing."
Suffice to say I've been squeeing my pants from their reactions. Now I'll be spending the next two weeks fine tuning the book, taking their suggestions into account, and finally on June 7th...release!
