Made me think.  We have a great group here, and if we had a sticky topic dedicated to "could someone help me find a recent topic about this subject that I am burning to talk about?"  It would both help cut down on duplicate topics, and increase the awesome sense of community we have here.

It would be less of a big deal during the slower periods between releases.

It seems a lot worse this year than last year. Have you considered not letting new members open new topics until they had made 100 (or whatever) in other peoples topics?

That bar is kinda high.  If such a policy were implimented I'd say 5-10 would be enough.

Also, unfortunately, the new sticky is a day old with only 68ish views.

mm, perhaps only in the DF spoilers section? Because new people wants to open introduction threads and things like that. And Serack, there is a need to announce the new sticky.
