Yeah, he has a really nasty case of stomach flu.  Shannon posted a picture of him in the ER looking like Patient Zero for a zombie apocalypse.  Fortunately, he's back home and resting now, thanks to the glowing magic of intravenous drugs.  Hopefully he'll be back in shape soon.  I know Kansas City intends to reschedule his signing.  Not sure about the canceled Chicago signing.

I openly wepted at the bookstore when I head that he was ill and that he had to cancel. Jim Butcher were going to be the first book signing I ever been to. Was going to be at the bookstore at 7am to wait for my ticket. :)

I normally would suggest chicken noodle soup.....but, in this case um...maybe not.

Jim I hope that you feel better soon and even if it takes longer its all good. -hugs-

I hope he feels better soon. Being sick is never fun.
And I hope that the Chicago (Skokie) Bookstore will reschedule it some date I can actually go to  :(. I had to take off work just so I can make it to the Friday signing.
This is the first signing I am ever going to, so I was hyped and was going to drag a friend from Chicago to Skokie to keep me company while I waited for the book signing.

I was going to get up at 04:30 to head out for the Skokie ticket line, but my wife woke me at midnight to break the news to me.
