Trying out CloudFlare
(1/1)
iago:
Not that the forums have been particularly slow since the move, but I've decided to try out cloudflare.com for this site. Let me know if you see wonkiness, though the change should largely be transparent (and should reduce the amount of slowness encountered overall).
Serack:
Nothing new, but the search function is a little wonky in that it frequently gives results without the search terms in them. This is more significant since searches were limited to 25 hits.
Here's where I first posted about it

No, it's a sort of reverse proxy service that makes sure that various parts of the site are cached more effectively and that traffic takes the most efficient route possible to reach its destination.
