Ideally I'd prefer to make another thread on the subject that also incorporates the many great theories other people have come up with as well. Given how time-consuming and boring it is to search through thread after thread however, that's probably not going to happen...
So yeah, seconding.

It's got 8 pages of discussion and I was hoping someone would give input on if it should be archived or not.

Personally, I don't think it need archiving. The idea in the first post, while original, doesn't really get debated. It quickly evolves into a discussion of mantles, Mab, etc. The discussion is interesting in of itself, but not something you couldn't find in similar threads.
