* Open the topic that is "awaiting approval"
* Click the "Modify" button
* Select everything you posted earlier which is now in the modify box
* Hit [Ctrl] + [C] (this copys everything, it's the same thing as going into the edit menu, and selecting copy or right clicking on the highlight and selecting copy)
* Start a new topic
* Name the new topic what you named the origional topic
* Type something into the body of this topic.  It doesn't matter what, you will be replacing this later.
* Post the new topic.
* Open the new topic.
* Click the "Modify" button
* Select everything you typed earlier as filler.
* Hit [Ctrl] + [V] (same comments as copy, but this pastes)
* Click "Save"
* Open the topic that is "Pending Approval"
* Click "Remove"
Edit:  Speling isn't my strong point.

Dina:
Thanks Serack, I feel stupid for not having thinking on that before. Eh, if I open a new topic whatever with just the filler and then I edited it with the text with the link, is the same, right?

Yah.  Frequently when I get hit by this, I've spent 10 min writing up something that happens to contain a link.  Which makes the copy/paste steps kind of necessary to avoid spending another 10 min rewriting the post.

Dina:
I understood, but my case (the one CWG mentions) is different. Is a thread that opens every week and has an introductory post. So I only need to copy it from the previous thread. Another option is dong the thread except for the link part, and add it later. Thanks again!

cenwolfgirl:
okay got the union thread to work
but it took me two trys so there are now tow threads
it is not the likn it is i think the copy and pasting its self
