Will there be an updated version of Our World?
« on: March 08, 2012, 09:23:43 AM »
I liked the character bios and stats in Our World. I was wondering if anyone here knows if/when any updated version encompassing turncoat, changes, and ghost story will be available?

Does this go here or the Billy's game den section?
I am not complaining, i would like to see some stats for The Rag Lady myself  ;D

It should go in the DFRPG forum, actually...  but many of the stats you're looking for are already there or in one of its subforums.

Go take a look.

As said before, you might get more info out of the DFRPG section, but Jim has said that the guys over at Evil Hat keep asking him questions which means to him that they are working on more material.

I have listened to interviews by Iago that state that they are working on a suplimental edition that has some new stuff including a section on some aligator wrestler in the everglades or something...

I think this is a link to said interview, done way back in 2010.

I will post it in the DFRPG section. I have only posted in the DF spoilers category. Should I delete this topic?

nah, shouldn't be necessary, if people here find it interesting, they will continue to post, otherwise it will decay naturally on it's own.

ETA:
I don't know how to delete this topic....

I think that option is only available to the OP as long as the topic hasn't been replied to.  Unless you are a mod for that forum.

Although you might be able to... the topic I just started about google maps still has the "remove" button by the modify button near the top even though I have already replied in it...

Yes, there will be an update to the character and creature guides of Our World!  It's one of the many awesome features of The Paranet Papers.  You can read more about it and Evil Hat's other upcoming projects here.

One of these days, Jim's going to put a TDF Encyclopedia in the back of one of his books, and the entirety of the text will be: "What Priscellie said." :D

sans release dates, because we don’t do that sort of thing

This makes me think of the parallels between Evil Hat and Blizard.

Hopefully your sucess parallels em too!

The short answer is yes.  A recent podcast said that "Tales From the Paranet" will update the setting to just before Ghost Story.  It will be an "in character" document, worked on by Billy (now William), Bob, and perhaps Butters.
