A lot of kids come up here from NYC. Apparently, a few years ago, the NYPD had been coordinating with the local sheriff's dept and spying on members of the Muslim Student Assn. Staking out their meetings, hacking into their emails, they documented their prayer habits, and they even sent an undercover on one of their outings. I guess this all came to light recently. The cops never found any dirt.
