as to kirk/spock ( and the origin of the word slash fiction)
spock has to have a snuggle bunny, or he goes bonkers
he reached adulthood during TOS
his promised wifey said no
so hes got 7 years from tha point
he gets married..but only after kirk dies
when he speaks of kirk the word he uses in vulcan translates as 'life partner'
after tos, he left to join the monastary (and thus no wifey recquired) but flunked out
the original edition of STTMP has a foreward, written by shatner, as kirk, in which he states the two of them were lovers

Came out last month not sure on the name, i was talking ender today at school and he mentioned it and i freaked, its a sequel to shadow of the giants.
