Not exactly; it's the concluding volume of the first arc of that space opera setting, yes, but I am certain there is one more arc of that scale of three or possibly, moderately certain of one after that, and there are all sorts of unattached bits and bobs for that setting that, from past experiences, are much more likely to hang around my mind being annoying until I have the ideas to fit them together into further novels than to turn into shorter related works.

The way I think of it is, given that I am obsessive-compulsive anyway, I might as well turn it to a productive end.
(One of the things I hope to get done next year is finally do the last polishing edits on a project I started in 1996. You can call that staying power if you like, but it feels more like procrastination to me.)
