Word Density.

Aminar:
I found this great site.

http://rainbow.arch.scriptmania.com/tools/word_counter.html

It counts out all the words in your document, giving you an idea how many times you have used a certain word.  This can be a good way to watch adverb usage.  To make sure I don't use the word Massive too much.  To see if your writing fits the correct proportions.(For instance my "and" usage is much lower than other novels I've checked out because I use more semicolons.)

Snowleopard:
Er, how safe is it to post to or use this site, Aminar?
You are, after all, entrusting your work to a third party.
(By the by - I haven't heard anything bad or otherwise about this site - I'm just asking/saying.)

Aminar:
They don't keep anything, it processes in just a couple of minutes and then you get the info and can copy it out.  I wouldn't worry overmuch, but you could always use an offline word scrambler first to reorder things.  I think Nanowrimo suggests a few.

It also works if you save the page as an html file and use it offline, so I would say safe.

Snowleopard:
Okay.  That's good.
Sorry but I tend to be a paranoid.
Congrats by the way.

I don't blame you. Writing takes a ton of time and effort.  Protecting that is terrifying.
