Online Game
« on: December 28, 2010, 05:02:41 AM »
Yet another seek-out for an active Dresden RPG campaign run via the internet.  openrpg, irc, skype, whatever.  (though not play-by-email/forum.  hard to get into those)

Also, if anyone has any other locations to search for groups, I'm eager to hear of them.  I have very few locations to search for gaming options.

There are a few FATE / Dresden games run via Fantasy Grounds, might check there if you're willing to purchase the software.

*pout*  can't afford to even if I thought the program was worth the price (which it isn't)

Take a look here. I think all of the games are full right now, but this forum has a lot going on at one time.

That depends on how much you use it.  :)  I probably have three to four hundred hours of play via FG...which means it cost about thirteen cents an hour.  A bargain!

Yes, I noticed.  I did check for other requests or openings, but there haven't been any in the last few months.

Hopefully if anyone is in need of extra players they'll notice my post.

Isn't Google Wave going away soon?

They're only guaranteeing it up through the end of the year; past that, it's anyone's guess, but it'll probably get closed down.

#12. If the seemingly helpless person you have just cornered is confident and unafraid despite being outnumbered and surrounded, you have encountered a Hero in disguise. Run while you still can.

Only sorta true.

What is happening is that Google Wave development is becoming an Apache Project, which is very exciting. Google will keep it's wave service open for the forseeable future, until the Apache project is either:

a) Going Strong

or

b) runs out of juice

Either way, it will be up for months, at least, and is a great platform for pen and paper RPGs.
