I've done similar, but reverse. Have a changeling that has human form. Human form and changeling form. Has to roll conviction to switch between (or to not switch) during stressful scenes. He's a minotaur changeling (of the spring court). Basically a gruff, with a different flavor. The player loves the character, and numerous jokes about "Hulking out" especially because he has hulking size.
