Chiroptera:
I was wondering the same thing.  I'm thinking about having it on for opening ceremonies since I think there is stuff between then and the party that I don't want to miss - and I don't think my costume is going to be an easy five minute in and out kind of thing.

--- Quote ---keep in mind I'm first generation American Italian and you don't want the Malocchio directed at you, do you?

I know that's either the Evil Eye or fancy coffee - so it depends.  :P

--- Quote from: Starbeam on December 28, 2010, 10:32:13 PM ---A lot of people will likely be in costume the entire day.  You could always bring your costume and ask anyone staying there if you could stash it in their room until the party.

as long as you're not creepy i'm okay with you stashing it in my room.. except i probably will be getting there JUST in time to quick change and head down.  wonder if mollz would go normalish when she's depressed... cause.. i'm normally lookin now.  *cries*

Same here, anyone is welcome to stash their costumes in our room, as well.

Chiroptera:
Yep, I'm amenable to sub-letting storage space as well.  It gives me someone to blame the damage on after I trash the room.  :P

Thanks for all the offers for a place to change!  Like Chiro, at least part of my costume will likely take some time to put on (good point about not wanting to miss events in between dinner & party).  Maybe I'll come with the tough part already done

As for creepy, no worries there...I am old enough to be the grandmother of a 20 year old, and I am employed by an organization that requires background checks, fingerprints etc. and passed w/flying colors! :)  I am disgustingly normal and harmless.  :)

Yes, Chiro, you can get Malocchio at Starbucks.  ::)
