If he did that, my luck would be he'd hit a site in the Philly area, which is 8ish hours from me.

same with me, but would end up just driving into Oregon or something to go see him (its worth the drive)

There is a small bookstore in West Bend, WI, called Fireside Books.  It is the LAST privately owned bookstore (that I know of) in Southeast Wisconsin.  It could really benefit from the presence of a NYTimes best seller (that it's less than 10 miles from my house is just a coincidence).
