Except that it cannot do what other builds can as well as they can. You got ritual -2, refinement for foci -4 (2 foci at +5), and refinement for enchanted item slots for another -3, for 12 items. Those items have to be specific effects, they can't be adjusted at all (unless you save some for potions).



Give me a set of 12 items at power 10 with 6 uses each that you consider game breaking and I will show you how they aren't. Remember, these are the only things the character can do power-wise. And they have to be specific, pre-set effects.

You know what, I'm not sure what the point of this is anymore.  I think it should be immediately obvious that a build with 12 automatically successful 10 shift effects, each usuable 6+ times a session is gaming the system enough to make things less fun for the non-crafter.  You disagree, because other edge cases exist.  We'll never play in the same games.  At this point, thats all that either of us gets out of discussing this.

-1 4 open Potion slots, 8 shifts, 3 uses each.

Equipment:
Apartment in the city with Wards, Superb Arcane Sanctum, Great Arcane Library, Good Scholarship Library.
8 Shift Wards + 4 Shift Veil, unlocked with the password that Merrix spoke last time he entered or left, and it lasts for a few years at a time. (25 Shifts).

I thought there was a limit on how much refinement a non sorcererer or wizard could have anyway.

No limit for refinement. But unless you have evocation or thaum, it *has* to be item slots, and not casting bonuses.
