Richelle Mead's Work! (Board Member goes pro)

The Corvidian:
I'm currently reading Storm Born, so far, so good.

I have one question for Richelle, in this world, is the supernatural out in the open?

meg_evonne:
me and my 'pooh' brain, I don't think so...but it wasn't emphasized as the need to contain.  Like in JB those in the know, including stubborn want to be in the know vanilla humans only knew.  I'll defer to Richelle....  obviously! lol

Noey:
I'd defer to Richelle too, but my instinct says no. My reasoning is twofold. First, the main character would probably be more mainstream about her advertising. Second, if the supernatural were out in the open, (click to show/hide)the roommate would all but scrawl SHAMAN ASK ME HOW!! on Eugenie's forehead in order to help authenticate his own Native American schtick, and therefore get laid even more often than he does now. Just a theory.  :D

meg_evonne:
I like your theory Noey!  Also i was recalling that even the guy that wanted (click to show/hide)his running shoe- de-demonized or something--  didn't get the whole story .  I think it read more like she was a step above a ghosthunter or an exorcist sort of...  i.e. would read like a fake in the same sense that people wouldn't believe in a Wizard for Hire in Chicago either.

Matrix Refugee (formerly Morraeon):
Just came back from the bookstore, where I got "Succubus Dreams", and now I can't decide which to start on: that, or Neil Gaiman's Graveyard Book...
