lol just thought of something funny, what if the reason he attacks people is because he is nearsighted and has to wear glasses, but hates them because they are so untroll like (though has no complaints of holding his pinky up when sipping his tea.)

It would be his sense of smell that would help him track vegetarian prey IMO. That way he could weed out the vegetarians from the meat eaters.
