How in the frack is a lava flow from 1618meter Eyjafjallajokull supposed to melt the ice at 1450meter Myrdals Jokull to relieve glacial pressure on Katla?

Is there not a 1000m saddle in between with significant slopes to either side?
Or did the McPaper get it wrong, and the real danger is from an underground magma link?

Because Loki is trapped under somewhere in the close vicinity ?
I have no volcanoes in my WiP. I do however have a key thing in the one next down the pile where a lack of volcanoes is plot-significant.
