Eidetic memory and Lore

The Codex:
Ok So this is a quick one:

Does the following stunt make sense or is it two over powered:

Arcane Eidetic Memory
If the player has read or researched this lore in a previous scene Eidetic memory allow him to +2 to a role using the relevant Lore (this could be for research, free tagging an aspect etc)

Basically you get a bonus on stuff you've researched before, but only stuff you've researched before? No bonus on new stuff? I could see that working, but you'd need to run it by your GM.

I have a player who wanted "Perfect Memory" and I suggested it be taken as an Aspect.

iago:
Yeah, an aspect may be better territory for this. I could see needing to refine that stunt description over time. I might want to limit the bonus to applying only for use in research, since that focuses on a single trapping of Lore in application.

I think I will get the player to use a combo of the two so

"Decendant of the Archive" as an Aspect to invoke and the "Eidetic Memory" Stunt as a reflection on Research when he can sit and concentrate
