Darwinist:
Opal, the big scary vampiress! Oh noes! look out behind you, Pearl is going to suck your blood!

Hard to take either of those seriously, in context. What sort of Vamp romp you going for here? Scary, serious, brooding, Rom Com starring Miley Cyrus, glam, chick flick, gory, suspenseful, glitter induced vomit on a page, or old school theatrical?

Best thing you could do, get a general idea of what year you think the character was born, and then research names from that given decade, century. Would also help to get a feel for what country of origin said character came from. If you wanna get REAL technical, what ethnic background were the characters parents?

Bludrose:
Hey - Opal and Pearl were the scariest bad asses at the nursing home!

i am doing vampires a little differently than most books, how their society evolved is that they are sophisticated predators, so they kinda have big cat like mentality, not overtly aggressive but you are well aware that they can rip you apart easily.

as for where they come from, in my world they are from the other side of the Vail, one of the darker worlds but there is still heavy human influences in the past seven thousand years.

shades of grey:
lilian, could be shortened to lily
bethany
charlotte
imogen
julianna
