Changes Spoilers:
(click to show/hide)Harry decided that the person who placed the hit was merely borrowing Susan's appearance, not Susan herself. The Eebs, for example, can change the appearance of their flesh masks.
We don't know if he was correct to think that, of course. But at this point, it's likely that we'll never find out. (click to show/hide)Susan, after all, isn't talking, and (presumably) neither are the Eebs.

(click to show/hide)Dresden is dead. So are Morgan, Justin (maybe), Margaret (maybe), and Susan. Don't you think he'll ask her?

The Eebs to me like they will be there to see you die not send someone to do it.
Maybe the first assassin and sniper were hired by the same person.

(click to show/hide)If she's there, and he can get in contact with her, he very well might-- I think it would do him a lot of good to be able to speak with her. But she was a Rampire when she died, and even *if* anything is left of her, spiritually speaking, she may be on an incompatible wavelength.

(click to show/hide)Although...Changes did make the point that the recently coverted rampires reverted to their human selves after the curse. Susan's plea to Harry post conversion, as well as the precedent of post curse reversion, lead me to the conclusion that some sense of Susan's humanity endured.

(click to show/hide)No, those weren't rampires:
--- Quote --- (click to show/hide)The Red Court was dead. Gone. Every one of them. Most of the remains were little more than black sludge. That, I thought, marked the dead vampires. The half-breeds, though, only lost the vampire parts of their nature. The curse had cured them.
