In preparation for Changes and DFRPG I've been re-reading the Dresden Files. In Storm Front, Harry fends off bat-form Bianca with a cloth powered with sunlight.
In game terms I'm imagining this as a potion slot, yes?

Yep, we talk about the hankie specifically.  Items basically break into three classes: ongoing spellcasting aids (focus items), ongoing or limited-uses-per-X spell effects (enchanted items like force rings and armored dusters), and consumable spell effects (potions, but potions cover more than fluid-in-a-bottle).

Isn't there a similar item in Blood Rites where he uses a belt buckle in the shape of a bear (?) to give him a big boost of power? (click to show/hide)I'm fairly sure he uses it to hit a White Courter with a frozen butterball turkey that fell from the sky

Yes, there is. It allows him to ignore quite a bit of fatigue and pain for a while, recharging him both magically and physically. (click to show/hide)Though it has basically nothing to do with the turkey (which hit a Black courtier, BTW), it just gets used during the same fight.

Oh okay, I'm there now. Thanks.
