Man, I have NO IDEA who to go as! Who in the series has long (well past my shoulders) curly hair and glasses? 'Cause I ain't getting a haircut, and I am blind as a bat without my lenses...

Any ideas?

And a healthy amount of mordite wouldn't hurt the look...just hurt everyone else.

Missing you, Md

I can't wait for the con! This is gonna be so awesome. Sadly, I won't be able to cosplay as any of the characters, however I will take lots of pics of those who are. :D

Ok first post on the site so Hello everyone /wave

I'll be going to comic con Friday with the press (Toyfair mag i think) so no dressing up which isn't fun but meh yall can have fun and i'll watch and live vicariously though all of you. I cant seem to find the location for Jim on the Con website, nor do i have a hardcover for signing yet, Will the newest book be available to buy at the table ? and do you think he will sign other nonsense ?
This will be my first time meeting him i'm looking forward to it.

Welcome aboard, TBT (by the way, questions about a con were why I signed up for this site in the first place, too, so settle in, buckle up and enjoy the ride :D ). A lot of the schedule for the con has yet to be finalized, so it's likely that we'll get that figured out in the next week or so. Also, the standard deal on signings is that there be no more than three items to sign, but in the past, Jim has said it's okay to get more signed as long as you head to the back of the line after the first three, so that everyone has a chance. He's a very generous person with signings and fan interactions, so much so that he's actually developed writer's cramp on a signing tour!

Changes may or may not be available at the con; I can't imagine Penguin would pass up the chance for bonus sales. But the "you can only get books purchased here signed" is normally the case only at in-bookstore signings.

More info as events unfold. And welcome aboard!

Penguin will be selling books at their booth, and I'm confident Changes will be among them.  I'm currently trying to figure out where folks will be able to purchase the RPG, as Penguin doesn't have the space.  I'll let you folks know if/when I figure anything out.

Tell Anne I'll personally buy her crêpes (note the plural) if she finds space for the DFRPG.
