Done and Done, damn NYC hotels are pricey. if it was just me I'd have stayed at a Hostel, but seeing as I'm planning the whole trip with apeassing the wife in mind I figured that would be a no go. Now off to search for suitable copies of all the books to be signed! waahoooo.

Okay, but be prepared to go through the line several times:
Me: I know you have the "three books the first time one goes through the line, the rest after everyone else had a chance to meet you" at bookstores, but does that change at conventions?
Jim: Depends on what the convention has set up. Generally speaking, its my guideline. I'll sign until everyone's done, but only three at a time.

Does anyone have any idea when we will find out Jim's schedule? I'm planning on being there Sunday, but could conceivably pop over from work on Friday (working in midtown these days), or even take the entire day off...
Priscellie:
Con schedules aren't generally announced until maybe a month before the event. Early September?
knnn:
Ah.
The website mentions getting tickets as late as Sept 10th (and even having them mailed to you). I assume there's no chance of selling out before then? I'd just rather not spend the extra $30 if I won't be using it.
