I second that freak out and want you to know that this has broken my little geeky heart for I cannot afford to go, However I had been considering SDCC next year and methinks I will just have to re-think that idea... :D

All righty, for those of you familiar with the city. My b/f and I are looking for a place to stay for this thing, and not sure what to do. Better to go with one that the NYCC site suggests, or look around at travel sites? My b/f's not much help with this cause even though he's been living just an hour from the city his entire life, he's been there like 3 times. And we really don't want to take the train every day, cause that's like an hour one way.

Darn! Jim will be only 45 minutes away - but I'm getting married on Saturday, the 9th! Hmm, how to sneak over to NYC on Friday...
Think I can trade Jim a wedding invite for a signature? ;)
